Twintwa creates a vast array of music, Twintwa is intense, Twintwa is intimate, Twintwa absorbs then releases everything it comes in to contact with. Matt Vend, Mahala Magazine South Africa
"Twintwa is more fervent than any other folk being made, and it’s much more heartfelt than any indie rock." Stylus Magazine.
"oh... and Twintwa! They are raw, salt of the earth, storytellers. It's interesting how much the vibe reminds me the dark magic of the south - how they captured that in music. The songs swing from sweet to savage, with a heaviness that is hard to shake but still cathartic. I've been thoroughly enjoying - scratch that enjoy is the wrong word... captivated - by the playlist." Fan

"TWINTWA are changing music history with their River Concert Series taking themselves, others, all their gear and instruments down the Sacramento River by canoe; sharing song, stories and fun everywhere they go"- Nan Hargis, Oakland Tribune
“Twintwa's River Tours are a turning point in American geographic history, the way it views urban space.” Debra Graff, Studio City Patch Hollywood, California
